Investing in Excellence – Upskilling Talent at Rainbow Restoration

There are numerous advantages to upskilling your workforce, from increased productivity and job satisfaction, to employee retention and improved customer experience. At Rainbow Restoration UK, we are under no illusion that much of our progress and influence in the Disaster Restoration industry is down to the talent within our organisation.

We recognise the value in nurturing existing talent and this commitment inspires our ongoing investment in the skills and knowledge of those who play an integral role in driving Rainbow’s success. In the intricate and ever-changing landscape of disaster restoration, an agile, well-educated and versatile workforce is a cornerstone of our resilience and effectiveness.

We are also advocates for the mental health benefits of providing a learning environment, where the success of each individual in their respective expertise is encouraged. Whilst providing essential services to those in need, we aim to ensure our team experience personal development and success during their time with Rainbow.

We’re incredibly proud to show off our Central Office team’s new achievements and commemorate the hard work these individuals are putting in to ensure the success of themselves and the company.

Continuous Learning through Courses

Starting with our MD Mark McMullen, who passed his IOSH Leading Safely course last year demonstrating that Health and Safety is of paramount importance to Rainbow, both on site and in office. With a new policy recently implemented, our own MD recognises the importance in staying up to date and ensuring the policy’s success through ongoing training and knowledge updates.

Our next superstar is Kelly Carr (BDMA Claims Practitioner), who has recently passed her Unit One (IF4) of the Certificate in Insurance Qualification from the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2023. This highly acclaimed qualification goes into depth in the basic general insurance principles and will supplement her existing technical claims handling expertise.

In 2023, Kay Crampton was promoted to Customer Experience Manager and has been immersed in learning the strategy behind resource efficiency and waste. Her recent successful completion of both Yellow and Green Belt Certifications in Lean Six Sigma has us excited for the transformation she will bring to our process management.

Nadine Carr, our Paralegal Manager and Executive Assistant to the MD, has recently received her certification as a Qualified Paralegal from both the Institute of Paralegals and the Professional Paralegal Register. These certificates represent the high competency and standard of knowledge, practice and ethics Nadine possesses in the paralegal profession.

We have an incredibly accomplished team that possesses a rigorous work ethic, passion for education and desire for growth. We find inspiration in their achievements and take great pride in extending our congratulations to each and every one of them.
