Head of Finance
We are seeking to appoint a Head of Finance to an established service sector franchised business based in East Midlands, with a heritage in disaster recovery and restoration. A business with great integrity and values, for over 35 years we have been focussing on exceptional customer service across multiple sectors including the discerning insurance industry.
The business is looking for an ambitious, qualified individual who may be looking for the next step in their careers or already have experience operating at this level and looking for their next challenge, to support the business through a period of fast and innovative change.
You will initially be supported by an experience Finance Director. However we are looking for someone who is a self-starter and happy to work in a hands-on role, line managing Finance & Credit Control.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day to day finance and administration activities of the organisation, and be required to work closely alongside the IT team in the redevelopment of infrastructure.

This role leads several teams, reporting to the Managing Director and being an active member of the Leadership team, who are expected to challenge the status quo, making and influencing decisions, and providing sound insight, data and forecasts to mitigate risks and optimise opportunities for the entire business.
Plus functions you will already know; Our Head of Finance is responsible for:
· Preparation of monthly management accounts, board pack and analysis.
· Budgeting and financial forecasting
· Implementation and testing of accounting controls and procedures.
· Provide financial guidance on a range of issues to the national franchise network.
· Ad hoc projects supporting the strategic development of the business.
In addition to the right experiences and attitude you will have appropriate qualifications e.g. a qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent)
As this is a developing role, your remuneration will include:
· Basic salary of circa £60,000 but subject to negotiation, based on experience
· Performance and results related bonus
